EuroVelo 6 : from Rhine river to Atlantic by bike

EuroVelo 6 is one of the easiest, most enjoyable cycle routes that crosses France. In France, EuroVelo 6 provides almost 1,300km of specially laid-out, unbroken paths linking Alsace in the east to the Atlantic in the west, going via the Canal du Rhône au Rhin, the Doubs and Saône Valleys, and the Canal du Centre in Burgundy, before joining the Loire à Vélo cycle route, which takes you alongside one of Europe’s last major wild rivers up to Saint-Brevin-les-Pins at the Loire’s estuary.
